My First Mini Set

I am so excited to present my first mini sets. I am looking forward to doing many more. They are inexpensive and will come with an added creation of my own. Let me explain.

For $3.00 at my etsy or tpt stores you will get a mini set. Each mini set includes several things.

  1. Several individual hand drawn images. 7 to be exact. They will be color in jpeg and png. (Jpeg is a normal sort of picture file. Png is an image with a transparent background. It works best when adding it to a document of your own.) You will also have the line art in jpeg and png. Those work well for regular black and white printers. You can use them as coloring pages for your kids or on a document you create.

In this image you can see the color images as well as the line art behind them. Remember they are 7 individual images.

        2. You also get a file of some sort for your personal use. This set includes table setting cards for
your Thanksgiving table. If you are like me, I love to make my table look festive. I like to
make the oreo turkeys, snack cups, pretty napkins...you know...the works. It's the one time a
year I am homemaker not teacher but just mom making the home warm and wonderful. I
always include some sort of name tag. This year, I am excited to use my clip art for those
name tags. I put them in a document with line art and color. If you want it easy to just print
and go, the color is for you. If you want to have your littles color them, or feel happy as you
color them, the line art version is your treat. This little part of the file is pretty much a free
gift to you, my buyer. A way of saying thanks. I appreciate your support.

And that is it. My first of many in mini sets. I enjoy drawing the images, but I also enjoy creating things with them. It's kinda my way of showing you all that you can do with the images you purchase. The creative possibilities are endless.

I sincerely hope your holiday is wonderful! If you like my mini sets share this post with a friend. They might enjoy hearing about them too. Watch for a Christmas mini set, coming soon.

With love and blessings to you ~ The Doodler

Instagram and Facebook Give-a-ways!

Hi friends.
I am feeling the love tonight. I have worked hard for the last month and a half to post 19 cute clip art sets. I reached a milestone of 100 likes on Face Book and 100 followers on Instagram. So, I want to give back. Follow the instructions on the flyer for a chance to win a free clip art set of your choice.

The winner number will be chosen at random by my sister. She is the reason I got this off the ground. It was her prodding to share my art that helped me open an Etsy shop. It just took off from there.

Thank you all for your love and support. Here's hoping for the sky to continue to be the limit! I am definitely enjoying the journey!

School Sets

My children have been gone for four days on a Trek. I am LDS and we believe in sending our children out to experience what our ancestors did when they were seeking religious freedom trying to flee from persecution. Essentially, they go up in the mountains and pull hand carts for four days from one destination to another. They camp, and eat pioneer type food. They sing, and have firesides or worship services. It is a life changing experience and one I am happy they could go on.

Having said that, I am also a worrying momma. It has been raining intensely for 3 days and I knew they were out in it. I didn't sleep well the first night as I listened to the lightening and thunder outside my window.

The picture shows them and the wagons they were pulling. There were over 500 youth that went and experienced this.

Needless to say they have since been rained out and are holed up in a barn waiting for their bus ride home tomorrow. While I can't wait for them to arrive and hear all their stories, I have kept my mind busy and have new sets to share with you.

I completed 3 school sets. These sets are purely selfish. I am a teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years. The last two I spent at the middle school teaching Language Arts to 6th graders. I am going back to elementary though and really excited about it. I have used other clip art to create my teacher documents and have always wanted to have my own to use. Now I do. I am excited to have them to use myself and when I am excited about something I love to share it. Below are the three sets that are now available at my ETSY and TPT shop.

I hope you enjoy them and share the place to purchase them with others. My marketing strategy is minimal. It all hinges on your support and help. I cannot tell you how much I appreicate all you do when you share, like, rate, and favorite my pages.

Don't forget to visit my other pages. The find me page has all my other sites listed for your conviencience. You can follow me on Facebook, Instagram and my shops. Check back here at my blog often. I love to share my stories and artwork. Freebies are posted with each new set. You just need to right click and then save the image and they are yours to use. I only ask that anytime you use my artwork you give me a shout out about it. You guys are the best.

My daughter stated that I should make a a set with animals. I started out thinking zoo animals, but it just didn't come together that way. Sometimes art takes on a life of its own. As a mother this one takes my mind down memory lane to the stuffed animals each of my children had to have to sleep with. They are all teenagers now and I still fight the desire to purchase them snuggle animals. It takes me back to their little years.

I am please to give you this set at a lower price because there are fewer images. I also included color images of each of the doodles.

I hope you enjoy it. I honestly could see these printed and put in a frame for your child's room or nursery.

All my love,

Wild West - Gone Country

Set #7. Two years ago I decided I was going to make my 2nd grade classroom into a Western theme. I set out on a quest to find clip art to create my own classroom decor and documents. It was not easy. It was really hard to find any clip art that had Buckaroos, Cowgirls and Cowboys.

Today I am in a place where I can actually make my own digital clip art. I am excited because next year I get to go back to elementary after two years at a middle school. I will be resuming my Blake's Buckaroos decor. However, I can add my own clip art to my documents. I am excited. I am also happy to share it with all of you.

This set comes with 14 Country Lingo sayings, 25 images of western items, 9 color images as a thank you for purchasing my set.

Plenty of Paisley

Recently,  my sister Stephanie Lambson Johnson asked if I ever drew paisleys. The answer? Why no, but I would love to try. I have to say my best art has to be inspired and it is always better when I am doing it for someone I care about. So, here you go Steph. Don't forget to cruise over to the page at the top that says freebies. I post a freebie from every new set. All you have to do is right click and save the image. Consider it a little love from me. I appreciate you following me and loving my work.

I hope others are enjoying my work. I am not feeling the love of purchase yet. But, I am determined to keep this going. I know it's early and start up is slow going sometimes. I will not get discouraged, but I would love your help getting my doodles out there. I believe in my friends and family that we can reach millions without the help of ads. You can help by sharing my posts. Liking my page. Following me on Face book. Following my Etsy store and writing a review for my work.

I have the most amazing, loving group of people all around me at any given time. I hope and pray for you all often and know your lives will be full and happy if they are not right now. Never give up. God bless and enjoy!

Patriotic Doodle Set

I grew up in a very patriotic home. I have 3 siblings serving in the military. My sister is a Marine. My youngest brother is in the Air Force. My middle brother served in the army. Then I married a man who retired from the Air Force. 22 years active duty. I love this country. I am thankful for my freedoms.

It is this patriotism that gets me excited about July. It's a palpable feeling on the 4th. The pride we have for FREEDOM and the gratitude for the SERVICE of our military.

With that being said I would now like to introduce you to my first Patriotic set. I am particularly proud of the tractor with the message that states "Made in America," and the military boot with the flag. I drew a girl Marine in honor of my sister. She is amazing. I look up to her in so many ways. She is made of nails with the most tender and giving heart. The man in the Air Force represents my husband, in honor of his 22 years of dedicated service to our country as a single dad.

I sincerely hope you love these doodles. Share the links with friends and family so they can enjoy them too.

The set includes 29 images in both jpg and png format. It also includes 10 images in color just for fun. Enjoy and God bless.

Maniac Magee Book Unit Doodles

One more for the day. I love the novel Maniac Magee. After trying to find line art that I could use on my teacher created documents and failing I drew my own. Now you can own it too.

You can find it at Teachers Pay Teachers at my store.
